Notes : From the first hit "Java", which dates back right to start of the 70s, Augustus Pablo became the archetype of a musical form which may have been present in principle in the beginnings of dub but which he developed in his own way on his melodica. However, Augustus Pablo was the one who embraced the foundations of nascent Rastafarianism most naturally. OUTCAST

Outcast is an animation about Droecrests (dragons) and humans. Conflict in each group. First I drew about 70 drawings, scanned them into Photoshop then placed them in After Effects. I used the puppet tool to move them in the scenes. After each scene was completed, I did the sound effects and voice over. Finally it was placed in Premiere Pro, where all was fitted together. It took me 4 and a half weeks to do as it was to be finished for a film festival deadline "Short Cuts". Short Cuts was held in Bendigo (Australia) on the 14.4.2012. Music was by Kevin MacLeod. Es ist eben nur eine Inspiration bzw. meine Idee von meinem eigenen Laputa. Und ehrlich, Hayao Miyazaki hat mit Laputa einen wundervollen Film erschaffen, ein wundervolles Schloss, was man eigentlich nicht toppen kann. Da dies nicht Laputa im Video ist, werde ich es einfach "Castle in the Sky" nennen. Das Projekt hat ungefähr 200GB an Speicher gefressen. Es hat viel Zeit gekostet die Videos zu rendern. Selbst ich, als Video editing noob, hatte Probleme überhaupt was auf die Reihe zu bekommen. Aber irgendwann musste ich ja lernen damit klar zu kommen und das ist genau dieser Moment gewesen.
